Persian Wedding at Casa Fuster Barcelona

Casa Fuster, one of Barcelona’s architectural treasures, was the setting for this Persian wedding full of symbolism and elegance. The Sofreh Aghd ceremony let the couple celebrate their union surrounded by elements representing prosperity, love and good fortune. After the “I do,” a Catalan dance troupe surprised guests and kicked off the party during the cocktail hour.

The seating plan, styled with elegant staircases of white flowers, brought a fresh, sophisticated touch. The tables featured centerpieces in white and pink blooms, and candelabras softly lit every corner, creating a warm, romantic mood that blended the best of Persian and Catalan culture.

Casa Fuster, a modernist palace on Passeig de Gràcia

Built in 1908 as the posthumous work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, Casa Fuster began life as a wedding gift: Mariano Fuster commissioned this modernist palace for his wife, Consuelo Fabra, and at the time it became the most expensive building in Barcelona thanks to the quality of its materials, including top-grade marble.

Converted into a luxury hotel in 2004, Casa Fuster still keeps its white marble façade and modernist interiors facing Avinguda Diagonal. Its Domènech i Montaner hall, which seats up to 160 guests, is one of the most storied venues for a wedding in the heart of Barcelona.
